Just bought a new sage for my growing collection. I think that brings it to at least a half dozen different salvia/sage plants in my garden. This is so unusual though, but pretty. Here's a close up of the flower "ball", held up on tall stalks.

So, just returned from the garden tour, and having picked up my flowers and ribbons from the show. My little winners are in the small vase together, with their respective ribbons out front and my participant ribbon in the middle. Got to wear that during the show and tour to look busy and important, LOL!

I snipped a couple of little beauties from the miniature rose out front "Lavender Sunblaze Miniature Rose", and decided the half open bloom was too pretty not to enter in the flower show (Redlands Horticultural Society), which is being held in the Esri Cafe (where I work!). Here's a close up of the more fully open bloom that I kept for my bouquet, plus the bouquet itself, which shows the half open bloom (over on the right) that I took to the show this morning. Wheeeeee!!
The bouquet includes roses, scabiosa, chive blossoms, South African daisy, lemon balm and feverfew for foliage.
